6.1 Number of messages

CDM Statements are send in response to a single DSR Message created in accordance with DDEX’s Digital Sales Reporting Message Suite. Therefore, a CDM Statements shall only contain data with respect to this one DSR Message. It is permissible, however, to send multiple CDM Statements in response to a single DSR Message.

If a DSR Message contains multiple sales contexts, each of the corresponding CDM Statements must have the same or a subset of those sales contexts.

A CDM Statement that is (a) in response to a DSR Message, and which (b) contains one or more claims withinvoice data shall be created in accordance with either the Claims Amounts profile or the Claims Corrections Amounts profile.

In cases where a CDM Statement is not sent in response to a DSR Message, the CDM Statement shall only contain claim data and shall be created in accordance with either the Claims profile or the Claims Corrections profile.

The data contained in a CDM Statement may vary depending which profile is used by the licensor based on the bilateral agreement between the licensee and the licensor.
